SARASWATI EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY
Saraswati Educational Society (SES) is a non-governmental organization working in India for more than 24 years, focusing on alleviating social justice. With the help of our well-planned and comprehensive projects in the healthcare, education, women empowerment, children, and neglected communities. Our overall goal is to empower people from the marginalized communities, more specifically from the most socio-economically vulnerable groups, by improving the quality of their lives and enhancing livelihoods.

Our Story

Our journey has been shaped by invaluable partnerships with esteemed donor agencies, including the Ministry of Minority Affairs, HUDCO, the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, and the National Institute of Social Defence. Through these collaborations, we have spearheaded impactful initiatives such as:

  • Community-Based Substance Use Prevention: Targeted interventions to address substance abuse.
  • Legal Awareness Camps: Educating communities about their legal rights.
  • Mahila Panchayat: A project funded by the Delhi Commission for Women to promote women’s welfare.
  • Mobile Helpline Project (MHL): Providing 24/7 assistance and counseling to women and those in need.
  • Community-Based Peer-Led Intervention Program (CPLI): Partnering with the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment and the National Institute of Social Defence to drive community health and support.
  • Family Counseling and Vocational Training: Offering critical support and skills development.
  • Health Awareness Programs and Camps: Promoting better health practices.
  • Housing and Environmental Sustainability: Advocating for safe living conditions and sustainable practices.
  • HIV/AIDS Intervention: Aiming to control the spread of HIV/AIDS and reduce STI/RTI rates.

Additionally, we collaborate with the Delhi Social Welfare Board to regularly conduct women’s awareness programs, continually advancing our mission.

These achievements are a testament to the visionary leadership of our Director, Mr. Amit Mishra. His profound understanding of the needs of the underserved, coupled with his ability to inspire and mobilize others, has been instrumental in turning vision into action. Mr. Mishra exemplifies that vision without action is a mere dream, while action without vision is just passing time. It is the synergy of vision and action that has the power to change the world, and under his guidance, our society has embraced this philosophy to drive meaningful change.
